Hotel Roopangarh Fort

In 1649 A.D. they made it their seat and called Roopangarh. Strategically located, on the main Moghul route - bordering the desert and the vast plains of Sambhar Lake - 'Roopangarh Fort' became the hub of activity. Within its nine turreted fortifications were made foundries, armouries, granaries, underground passages jails and palaces. In 1997 A.D. the fort is opened for travellers by maharaja Brajraj Singh.
